Hello! My name is Kelsie Tatro, and I am a pre-service teacher in my fourth year at Miami University. I am completing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Music Performance, and my primary instrument is the flute. I am also completing a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
As an educator, the three main pillars of my teaching philosophy are musicianship, identity, and experience. It is my goal for my students to feel a sense of belonging in the classroom while having the opportunity to play a transformative role in their own learning.
